Description :	Contrairement à la majorité des Saint Michel manchois de cette époque, celui d'Avranches a gardé ses ailes. Elles n'ont pas été rapportées mais taillées dans le même bloc de pierre. Pierre calcaire polychromée (première moitié 15e siècle), tête, partie sommitale des ailes en plâtre (19e siècle).

Précision sur_l'état :	La restauration en 2015 a fait apparaître que la pierre s'apparente à celle de Sireuil (Charente), réputée pour ses carrières de pierre.
Précision_sur la representation :	Le saint est vêtu d'une longue robe sur laquelle est drapé un manteau retenu sur l'épaule gauche. Comme toute une série de saint Michel de la même époque le saint, tête nu, plante sa lance dans la gueule du démon et tient de la main gauche appuyé contre sa jambe un bouclier en table d'attente. Le démon est pourvu d'ailes de chauve-souris.
