Historique :	La nef de l'église de Grosville est reconstruite en 1873 ; sur la façade occidentale, est placée une verrière à trois lancettes figurant saint Jean l'Evangéliste, le Sacré Coeur et saint Jacques le Majeur, sur laquelle le donateur a tenu à faire figurer plusieurs inscriptions. En fait, le donateur est le curé, Auguste Grenier. Dans le registre des délibérations de la fabrique, il a été noté le 14 octobre 1887 : "Monsieur le curé demande ensuite au conseil l'autorisation de placer dans la fenêtre centrale du pignon de la nef une verrière représentant le Sacré Coeur de Jésus. Cette verrière, il l'offre à l'église en souvenir de ses parents défunts et pour satisfaire sa dévotion au Sacré Coeur de Jésus. Cette demande est accueillie avec reconnaissance et l'autorisation accordée".
