Description :	Ornement liturgique en textile conçu à partir d'une toile de parachute en nylon brodée de manière mécanique (rayonne rouge, galons vert et rouge). Un côté de cette chasuble est constitué de toile de parachute à motif de camouflage, à dominante verte. L'autre côté est en rayonne rouge. Il existerait un manipule cousu à partir de la même toile de parachute qui aurait perdu la moitié de ses franges mais il n'est pas localisé.

Historique :	Peu d'objets sont aussi représentatifs de l'effervescence qui a suivi le débarquement en Normandie. Cette chasuble a été empruntée en 2009 pour la messe de commémoration du 6 juin 1944 à Sainte-Mère-Eglise. Elle peut être rapporchée à deux objets civils conservés au mémorial de Caen : une robe de mariée en toile de parachute portée en 1947 et une robe acquise en 2006 constituée de foulards représentant les drapeaux et portraits des pays victorieux et de leurs dirigeants.
