Ce four au charbon de bois, représentatif d'une technique spécifique de la production de la chaux au 19e siècle, est pourvu d'une petite galerie de 7 à 8 mètres comportant de chaque côté deux petites ouvertures et des canalisations permettant de moduler le chauffage. Il a cessé son activité vers 1920.Classement monument historique :
