défendre les intérêts des chasseurs de migrateurs, des traditions et droits coutumiers propres au département de la Manche et les representer auprès des organismes officiels ; veiller à la conservation et à la protection des biotopes favorables à l'avifaune migratrice ; créer et entretenir des réserves sur le département de la Manche ; parfaire la formation du chasseur de gibiers migrateurs et assurer l'information de l'opinion publique par tous moyens de communication utiles ; lutter contre les destructions abusives d'oiseaux migrateurs susceptibles de nuire à la conservation des espèces migratrices ; assurer, là où cela serait nécessaire, l'exploitation de la chasse sur le domaine public fluvial ; intervenir par toutes voies de droit et devant toute juridiction de chasse ou pour défendre les intérêts légitimes des chasseurs d'oiseaux migrateurs
