sensibiliser les communes, les paroisses et les autres propriétaires à l'importance de leur patrimoine organistique et à sa préservation ; proposer d'assurer près d'eux une fonction de conseil technique et artistique ; se soucier des instruments en mauvais état ou « oubliés » ; établir ou renforcer les liens et la concertation entre les propriétaires, les affectataires, l'administration, les facteurs d'orgues, les utilisateurs, les amateurs d'orgues, la population ; mettre en valeur les orgues pris en compte par l'association en organisant concerts, visites pédagogiques, recherches historiques ; relayer localement les objectifs de promotion de l'orgue poursuivis par l'association nationale "Orgues en France"
