Objet :

agir pour améliorer la formation des ophtalmologistes ou de tout autre professionnel de santé ; mettre en place des enseignements théoriques et pratiques en ophtalmologie au sein de sa population médicale et paramédicale et/ou de tout autre public ; aider à la réalisation de projet de recherche par la mise en place d'outils adaptés, d'un support logistique et financier ; diffuser les méthodes diagnostiques thérapeutiques et préventives auprès de ses membres, mais aussi auprès des médecins, des étudiants et du personnel paramédical ou tout autre public au moyen de réunions, de séminaires, de tables rondes, de conférences d'enseignement para universitaires, d'informations écrites, illustrées, et en général par tous moyens disponibles pour diffuser une information scientifique ; apporter une aide en argent ou en matériel aux ophtalmologistes et aux chercheurs en formation ; coopérer avec les diverses sociétés d'ophtalmologie françaises ou à l'étranger ; Elle pourra entretenir des relations et tenir des réunions communes avec les sociétés étrangères d'ophtalmologie ; Elle pourra également collaborer avec d'autres sociétés scientifiques ; recevoir, acheter, louer, gérer, à titre onéreux ou gratuit, des fonds et biens nécessaires à la poursuite de son objectif ; Son activité ne pourra donner lieu à aucune distribution de bénéfice ; L'association pourra éditer des publications ou rapports pouvant faire l'objet d'une large diffusion à titre onéreux ; recevoir des dons en vue de l'organisation de missions humanitaires de chirurgie et / ou de consultation en France ou à l'étranger
