fédérer les personnes intéressées par la poterie de Ger et désireuses de valoriser le patrimoine local ; développer des partenariats sur actions avec le conseil départemental de la manche, gestionnaire du musée, les associations locales (généalogie et histoire, terres d'échange, etc...) ainsi que les associations et musées concernés par la poterie en Normandie ; poursuivre la recherche historique sur la production potière de Ger, du mortainais et du domfrontais ; participer à l'inventaire, la préservation et à la mise en valeur des témoignages matériels et immatériels de l'histoire potière locale ; prospecter en vue de compléter et documenter les collections du musée ; participer à la diffusion scientifique et à la notoriété de l'activité potière de Ger, du mortainais et du domfrontais
